Mei is a GNOME Shell 50 extension that puts an assistant on the top panel. It talks to local servers (Ollama, llama.cpp, LM Studio) and cloud APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, OpenCode, GitHub Models, plus any OpenAI-compatible URL), streams replies in the expanded popup, and renders Markdown with native St widgets. Provider settings live in GSettings. API keys go to libsecret with a GSettings fallback. Chats and logs stay in XDG user directories. The longer vision is a Gemini-like assistant, in the spirit of Hermes Agent, that understands intent, interacts with the system, and helps finish tasks.

GrayShare is a cross-platform desktop host plus a zero-install browser client for sending files over a local network. The host runs a FastAPI server (inside pywebview, or headless) and shows a QR URL with a per-boot access key; phones and other machines open that URL to send or receive. Transfers use parallel chunked uploads into a preallocated inbox file, optional passcodes, and three receive paths: a native save dialog on the host, File System Access streaming in capable browsers, and a Range-aware browser download everywhere else.

Little Later is a Manifest V3 Chrome extension with no backend. The 500 by 600 popup stores visual bookmarks, tasks, reminders, and notes in a Dexie IndexedDB vault. A service worker captures tabs, fires reminder notifications, and offers context-menu save and note actions. Profiles lock with AES-GCM. AI Assist talks to Ollama, LM Studio, or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint and will not write or export until the user confirms in chat.

A domain-agnostic public repo of small tools I actually use, one directory per tool under src/. It is not a product line. The first inhabitant is webapp-launcher, a Bash CLI that turns a website into a GNOME dock app with an isolated Chromium profile, an icon, and window grouping that does not collapse under Chrome.

Next.js dashboard for patrn.ink. Users sign in with Google or GitHub, then create and manage short links, inspect destination health, export analytics, issue scoped API tokens, and download QR codes. This repo is the browser UI only: it talks to a sibling Go API over HTTPS, stores a JWT in localStorage, and has no database of its own. Production short-link redirects live on api.patrn.ink, not in this app.

The Next.js site at andystmc.me. Projects, skills, career, activity, and writing live in one monochrome glass interface, with owner editing, calendar and meeting workflows, public and private chat, an encrypted vault, and an assistant people can ask about him. Public skills come only from the published graph; level 0 stays stored and hidden.

A specification and a local Python linter for project knowledge. It keeps protocol, identity, evidence, belief, decision, attention, and history in different files, grows a path only when that kind has a real inhabitant, and treats unverified text as non-citable. The runnable surface is scripts/lint_knowledge.py: tree lint, Tier 1 init, a frozen version pin, and a pull-request promotion hook. There is no app server, datastore, or package registry.

TYA is a Next.js PWA for SRM University-AP students. It logs into the official Parent Corner portal with the student's registration number and password, solves the login captcha through a separate Tesseract service, and scrapes profile, weekly timetable, course list, and subject-wise attendance into MongoDB. The app then shows identity, live ongoing and upcoming sessions, a swipeable weekly schedule, courses, and derived stats such as usable OD/ML, skips left, remaining sessions, and classes needed to reach 75 percent, using operator-maintained holidays, special working days, and semester dates.
